Lorraine Florence Lamoureux
It is with saddened hearts that we say goodbye to our mother/grandmother on December 20, 2018 at the age of 91. Lorraine passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer.
She leaves behind her sons Jack (Pat), Bret (Susan), Kirt, Scott; daughter, Janice, grandchildren Kerry, Joanne (Tom) Jason (Ruby), Trevor (Kim) Ryan (Anya), Benjamin, Jillian, Amanda (Ben), Logan (Candace); 18 great-grandchildren ,3 great, great- grandchildren, siblings Vern (Ev), Harold, Doug, Diane (Ray) and several nieces, and nephews. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband, father of her children, William “Bill” Oliver, husband, Joseph “Joe” Lamoureux, parents Leonard and Edith Frey; sisters, Doris, Orlene, and Norma.
The family sends special thanks to Dr. Stecyk and the nurses for their compassion and kindness during her short stay at Fort Saskatchewan Hospital. A Funeral service will be held at the Josephburg Community Church on Saturday, December 29 at 1:00 p.m. with viewing at 12:00 p.m. For those who so desire, memorial donations in Lorraine’s name can be made to a charity of their choice.
Farewell kind and gentle lady, you will be forever loved and forever missed.
