Lorna Winnifred O’Rourke (Mussell)
Retired R.N. Ottawa Civic Hospital
Peacefully at home in Bayfield Manor, Kemptville, surrounded by family and friends, on Monday July 16th, 2018 at 95 years of age. Beloved wife of the late James O’Rourke. Predeceased by her parents, Norman and Edna Mussell and her sister Greta Dagg (John). Much loved sister of Audrey Taylor (the late Carson), Gertrude Salter (Ken) and sister-in-law Beverly O’Rourke (the late Clarence). Lorna will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and special friends Cathy and Gary Woolsey. A special thank you to the staff of Bayfield Manor and Dr. Patrick Leahy for their extraordinary care and dedication to Lorna. Family and friends are invited to visit the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville, Ontario on Friday, July 20th, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 21st, 2018 at Holy Cross Church, 505 Clothier Street West, Kemptville at 10:00 am. Donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or Bayfield Manor Auxilary would be appreciated.
