Mrs. Lorna Stutchbury passed away suddenly while on a holiday in Winterhaven, California on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 with husband, William (Bill) by her side. Lorna was born in Edmonton to Dr. T. R. and Elsie Clarke December 6, 1941 – the day before Pearl Harbor. Lorna loved to highland dance as a youngster and go fishing with her family in Jasper. Valedictorian in Grade 12 at Ross Sheppard High School, Lorna went on to be a school teacher. Lorna and Bill were married July 20, 1963 and lived in Barrhead where she taught and was proud to be Kinette/Volunteer over the years. Lorna always had fun with her bridge buddies. She was predeceased by two infant sons and an adult daughter, Jody-Lynn Audrey Stutchbury Raposo. Lorna leaves to mourn her sons; Jed William (Carmen) and Jason Garry (Julie); granddaughters; Mirabelle and Salome Stutchbury, grandsons; Cullen Stutchbury and Andre Jose Stutchbury Raposo. Bill will be bringing Lorna back to Barrhead and an announcement of Lorna’s Celebration of Life will be made at a later date.
