Loretta Cormier
1928-2018
Loretta Cormier, 90, passed away
peacefully on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 at
the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes,
Bathurst.
Born in Middle Sackville, NB, Loretta was
the daughter of the late Walter and Norma (Bourque)
Cormier.
Loretta worked at the former Brunswick
Mines for many years until her retirement and was the first person to
open up the kitchen at the Bathurst Down Town City Famers Market and
later became your Coffee
Lady.
Loretta is survived by one daughter
Nancy-Ann Lachambre of
Moncton.
Two grandchildren: Tammy Davis (Brian)
and Marcie Davis (Dan).
One sister, Jeannine Melanson of Jasper,
AB.
As well as several nieces, nephews and
friends.
Loretta was pre-deceased by her husband,
Edgar Cormier, brother, Adelard, sister-in-law, Audrey and
brother-in-law, Leon
Melanson.
Per Loretta’s wishes, there
will be no visitations or funeral service.
The family wish to thank the nursing
staff and anyone who loved and cared for mom. Thanks to the
miracle of our prayers, Loretta remained pain free until the very
end.
Donations in memory of Loretta may be
made to the SPCA or a charity of the donors choice.
Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home
(www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
