Passed suddenly away in Edmonton, AB, on Thursday, May 17, 2018, Lloyd M. Rose of Victoria, age 62 years. Predeceased by parents: Edmund and Olive; infant brother: Frederick; step-daughter: Krista Cook. Leaving to mourn, wife: Germaine; one son: Stephen (Ashley), Whitecourt, AB; one daughter: Kayla Rose, Edmonton, AB; step-sons: Sean Cook, Edmonton, AB and Derek (Annette) Cook, Calgary, AB; two grandchildren: Alya and Elliot; three step-grandchildren: Liam, Olivia, and Addison; three brothers: Gordon (Vera), Carbonear, Herbert (Sharon), Bristol’s Hope, and Edgar (Arlene), Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1037 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl, NL, A1N 5E9.
