(November 11, 1958- December 29, 2018)
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Linda on Saturday Dec 29, 2018.
She will be greatly missed by Dave, her loving and devoted husband of 34 years, siblings Daniel Kaye (Gayle), Susan Wilson (Greame), Diana Gooley (Dan), Mary Cambridge (Rob), brother-in-law Robert Cleaveley (Nancy), nieces and nephews Shawn (Aaron) Ian, Ben, Eric, Stephen, Becca, Katie (Brad), James (Miranda), David, Kristen, Matthew and Phillip and grand nephews Brayden & Ryder. Linda also holds a special place in the hearts of many other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her parents David and Lorraine Kaye and sister Jennifer Kaye.
Linda was a nature lover and passionate environmentalist. She had many and varied interests including gardening, theatre, swimming, kayaking, card and board games. Linda and Dave were avid travelers and visited many countries throughout the years. Spending time with family and keeping up with her nieces and nephews was always a top priority. Linda was an active member of St. Athanasius and proud “Tea Bag”. Despite many health challenges, Linda faced each day with grace, dignity, and strength of character.
Visitation will be held at Carson Funeral Home, Orillia on Thurs Jan 3rd, 3-5 p.m. Funeral service at St. Athanasius, Orillia on Fri Jan 4th, 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow in church hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (jdrf.ca), Lion’s Camp Dorset (lionscampdorest.ca), or Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation, Home Dialysis Unit (osmhfoundation.ca/donate -specify Home Dialysis Unit). Don’t forget to sign your donor card!
