Lillian Martha (Mont) Roy
1924-2018
Age 94, Amherst, formerly of Springhill, passed away on
December 29, 2018. She was born January 2, 1924 in Springhill, the
daughter of William and Jessie (Lowther) Mont.
She is survived by her children Gerry,
Rob, Lori Melanson and Ann (Adair) Rushton; grandchildren Andrew
Melanson, Patrick Melanson, Petur Roy, Kristjana Roy, Megan Rushton
and Nicholas Rushton; sister Venetta Osmond and nephews John Mont and
Tim Osmond.
In addition to her parents, she was
predeceased by her husband Benjamin Roy, son Gregory, brothers William
and Gerald Mont, son-in-law Wayne Melanson and daughter-in-law
Thoranna Roy.
Arrangements are under the care of
A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill (902-597-2361). Honouring Lillian’s
wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services.
Lillian’s remains have been cremated and will be interred in the
Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, at a later date.
Donations in memory of Lillian may be
made to a charity of one’s choice.
