Obituary of LeVern Robertson
LeVern devoted her life to her family. She was our organizer-in-chief, loyal confidant and number one cheerleader. In sickness and in health she always put family first: filling our fridges with home cooking, listening to our stories, and offering her counsel. She fought cancer for over 5 years without complaint and went out the way she lived – independent, loving, and sharp as a whip.
LeVern will be sadly missed by her husband, Chris Hale, her children, Victoria and Michael Hale, her father, Vernon Robertson and her sister, Darlene Harrison. LeVern was pre-deceased by her mother Lotte.
The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26th. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Doctors Without Borders (doctorswithoutborders.ca or 551 Adelaide Street West, Toronto, ON, M5V 0N8). Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymilesnewbigging.com.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of LeVern Robertson 2018..
