Leonard Lapointe
The death of Leonard Lapointe of Gravel Hill occurred on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the age of 86. Born in Gravel Hill, he was the son of the late Frank LaPointe and Stella Gagne.
Leonard is survived by his children Oliver (Cathy) of Lorne, Clarence (Brenda) of Moncton, Eugene (Marsha) of Lorne, Connie Godin (Perry) of Lorne, Debbie Lapointe of Dalhousie, Claude (Shelly) of Gravel Hill, Frank (Mariette) of Gravel Hill, Stella Lapointe (Eldon) of Lorne, Alfred (Kathy) of Gravel Hill, Leonard (Teala) of North Tetagouche, his brother Lawrence, sisters Roselyn, Florence and Cora as well as his 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Julia, siblings James, Basil, Clement, Francis, Everett, Delphis, and sisters Janie, Gertie, Doris and Mona.
His funeral will be held from St. Maria Goretti Church, Lorne, July 04, 2018 at 2 PM. For those wishing to make donations, the family would prefer donations go to the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Nash Creek.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
