Lawrence “Larry” Doolittle
Suddenly taken from us after a strong battle with cancer. Surrounded by his family he went to meet his Heavenly Father on Wednesday June 27th 2018 at the age of 78.Beloved Husband of Catherine (Foster) for 55 years. Loving Father of Susan Patterson (Paul), Jim Doolittle (Kes) and Sandra Murray (Craig). Loving Grandpa of Jocelyn Doolittle, Holly and Hunter Murray. Treasured Uncle to his nieces and nephew. Survived by his Sister Linda Laird. Larry served as a firefighter for 32 years and retired as a Captain on the London Fire Department. He was a proud and active member of the London Professional Firefighters Retirees Association. Larry was active with the Huff and Puff hockey league for many years. He formed many friendships along his journey in life and enjoyed his retirement with Catherine travelling and spending time with friends and family. Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1997 Dundas St. E., on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 5-8 PM, Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 10-11 AM with a funeral service to follow in the chapel at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Regional Cancer Program or Stoney Creek Baptist Church. Online condolences may be left at www.forestlawnmemorial.ca
