LAURIE DAVID MINOR

Peacefully at the Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville with his family by his side on Sunday October 14, 2018 in his 88th year.
Laurie Minor, beloved husband of 62 years of Jean Minor (nee Stirling).
Loving father of David Minor (Karen) and Kevin Minor (Tera).
Proud papa of Jeffery Minor (Alicia), Trisha Morgan (Dan) and great papa of Keira and Lucy.
Cherished brother of Janet McLaren-Heise, Jim Minor (Joanne) and brother-in-law of Pamela Minor.
Predeceased by brothers Jack and Wally Minor and parents Albert and Bessie Minor.
Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home – Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Wednesday October 17, 2018 from 1-3 and 6-8 P.M.
A service to celebrate the life of the late Laurie Minor will be conducted at Zion United Church, 49 Main Street in Sundridge on Thursday October 18, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Sandra Jenkinson officiating.
Reception being held at Caswell Resort, 77 Main Street in Sundridge at 1:00 P.M. following the interment at Siloam Cemetery in Machar Township.
If desired, memorial donations to Zion United Church or Hospice Huntsville would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
