Passed away with his family by his side, following a tragic snowmobile accident, at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital on Sunday, January 7, 2018. Laurence Vanden Heuvel of Goderich in his 62nd year. Beloved husband and partner for 40 years of Helen Vanden Heuvel (nee Kaastra). Loving Dad to David and Michelle, Stephen and Natalie, Matthew and Caitlin and Nadine and Chelsey. Cherished Opa of Alyssa, Lena, Desmond, Rita, Gus, Carson and Mackenzie. Son of Annie and the late Kase Vanden Heuvel. Brother to Christina and Clint, Marian and Tom, Audrey and Christopher, Gilbert and Joannie and Casey and Megan. Also missed by his large extended family and friends. Friends will be received for visiting at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 245 Mill Road, Goderich on Thursday, January 11th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. where the Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Stephen Tamming officiating. Cremation has taken place and interment of ashes at Maitland Cemetery will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice.
