Obituary of Kyle Schoendorfer
June 3, 1976 – December 16, 2018
With heavy hearts we announce the loss of our Daddy, Son, and Brother, Kyle Schoendorfer. Kyle passed away unexpectedly in Grande Prairie, AB, early Sunday morning on December 16, 2018 at the age of 42.
Kyle was born in Peace River and spent his early years growing up on the farm in Deadwood. We moved to Manning when Kyle was 13, where he attended Paul Rowe High School and spent many days cruising around town in his 454ss. Kyle then left Manning to go work with his uncle Karl in the oil field, later moving to Grande Prairie area, where he resided since. He remained in the oil industry, and came up with many inventions, including a pressure truck and light tower. He always had a plan. In 2010 his first beautiful baby girl was born, Kaydence Nevaeh, on May 23. From that moment on Kyle’s heart was forever stolen. Kyle’s second love was born on May 24, 2013 Kali Schoendorfer. Kyle was an amazing father and did absolutely anything he could for his girls. Kyle has spent the last 6 years living in Beaverlodge with his girls. Together they went skidooing, quadding, hunting, and swimming, they built igloos and skating rinks. Kyle spent every possible moment he could with his girls, and they adored and idolized him.
Kyle is survived by his daughters Kaydence & Kali, mother Lori, brother Clinton (Jessica & son Bane), sister Dezira, sister Monica (Ed, Mathew, Adam, Jonathan & Jaiden), grandparents Pat & Harold, and countless uncles, aunts, and cousins, many of whom were like siblings to Kyle.
Kyle is predeceased by his father, Cleveland Schoendorfer, auntie Donna, uncle Karl, uncle Erwin & auntie Leila, cousin Candi, and his Roggie (dog), who we all know are waiting to greet him with open arms and love.
Kyle’s love for his family and his adventurous spirit will not be forgotten. His bright smile, brilliant mind, genuine laughter and fierce devotion to his daughters will carry on inside our hearts and minds. Kyle, you were strong and beautiful. Rest easy. Forever on our minds, always in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 21, 2018 at Wembley Multi-Purpose Arena, 9831-97 street in Wembley, AB at 2:07 PM. Kyle was brought into the world at 2:07 PM on June 3rd so the family requests that guests arrive prior to that time. A memory box for his Daughters will be set up for anyone to share memories and stories of Kyle.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a trust fund created for Kyle’s daughters, set up at ATB Financial under the name “Schoendorfer Trust” Last digits of account 5679, or E-Transfers to rememberingkyle@hotmail.com. Thank you all for your support and love. Kyle will be forever missed.
