Obituary of Kenna Amy McCann
Passed suddenly away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, Kenna Amy McCann of Gull Island, age 19 years. Predeceased by grandparents: Gertrude McCann, Gerald Carnell, and Patricia McPhee; uncles: Gerald, Arthur, and Jimmy McCann, Reggie Coish, and Stephen Edward Carnell. Leaving to mourn, mother: Annette McCann, Gull Island; father: Kenneth McPhee, Toronto, ON; sister: Melody McPhee, Gull Island; grandfather: William McPhee, New Brunswick; step-grandmother: Helen Carnell, Ochre Pit Cove; aunts: Donna (Lloyd, deceased) Sellars and Ursula Kehoe, both of Western Bay, Mary (Clarence) Noftle and Margaret McCann, both of Ontario, Darlene (Roger) Pike, Geraldine (Craig) Green, and Janice Carnell (Johnny Baker), all of Ochre Pit Cove, Kim Carnell and Tracey Carnell, both of Bay de Verde, Robin McPhee and Christine (Chris) Dacosta, both of Ontario; also a large number of cousins, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, July 28 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Kenna Amy McCann Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
