Ken Kerr June 20th 2018

Kenneth Cunningham Kerr, late of Regina, SK passed away peacefully on June 20, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Ken is lovingly remembered by Donna Cameron and his children Kim (Dave) Booker of Kelowna, Kerry (Leslie Munro) of Kelowna, Tean (Emma Parnell) of Sydney, Australia; grandchildren Treana (John) Hamilton of Kelowna, Jamie (Jason Fields) Brooks of Kelowna, Diana Holmes of Oklahoma City, Jesse Kerr of Kelowna, Marlen Kerr of Sydney, Australia; 8 great-grandchildren; Donna’s son Dave Wagstaff and family of Kelowna; sister Helen Stephens of Montreal; brothers Gord (Donna) of Calgary, Dave (Donna) of Weyburn; and several nieces and nephews.
Ken was predeceased by his son Todd, brother Doug, and nephews Robert and Martin.
Ken was born on July 27, 1938 in Moose Jaw to Dave and Peggy Kerr. The family moved to Regina when Ken was 5. Ken attended Albert and Scott Collegiate. He worked for SaskTel for 35 years. While working there, he met Donna and they spent many happy years together. Ken was an avid sports fan playing basketball, baseball, curling, and golf. He liked attending the horse races and sipping a cool one at the Eagles Club. Ken had a great sense of humour and had the ability to make people laugh. Ken was very proud of his family. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially the Kerr reunion last September.
Ken was diagnosed with dementia and spent the past 2 years at Pioneer Village. The family would like to thank the staff for the kind and compassionate care Ken received.
At Ken’s request, no service will be held.
