Ken Harold Day
of Drayton passed away peacefully and unexpectedly surround by the love of his family at the West Parry Sound Hospital on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Karen (Lawless) for 55 years. Dear father of Jeff Day and Jackie Schofield of Breslau and Steve Day and Zana Martin of Waterloo. Grandfather of Lindsay Day, Matthew Day and Justin Day. Great grandfather of Abigail Day. Brother of Dennis and Carol Day of Kitchener. Son-in-law of Dora Smith of Palmerston. Brother-in-law of Dave and Ginny Franklin of Moorefield and Fred and Sandy Smith of Palmerston. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. To honour Ken’s wishes cremation has taken place.
The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A celebration of Ken’s life will take place at a later date and will be announced at that time.
