1928 – 2018
Peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Sunnybrook Hospital . Cherished wife of the late Yvan. Loving mother of Patrick (Vanessa), Tim (Maureen), Gary (Gail), and Judy (Michael) MacKenzie. Beloved Nana of Spencer Bienvenu, Ryan, Daniel and Griffin MacKenzie. Much loved sister to Jim (Marjorie) and Terry (Vivian) O’Connor. Devoted Aunt to David, Terry, Christine, Nancy and Alex Lunan. Predeceased by her parents Eric and Myna O’Connor, her dear sister Ruth Lunan and niece Kathy Lunan. Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Special thanks to the exceptional team at Sunnybrook Hospital . In keeping with June’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St . (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 9:30am with a Celebration of her life at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers donations to the Sunnybrook Foundation would be appreciated.
