Obituary of Judith MacDonald, Port Morien
After a courageous battle with cancer, Judith Ann MacDonald, 74 of Port Morien passed away peacefully at the Glace Bay Hospital on Wednesday, November 14th, 2018 with her son and daughter in law by her side.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Alice (Fleet) Wilson.
Judith was an excellent cook. She enjoyed playing darts in her younger years along with cards and playing on the computer. She loved her two animals, Foggy and Brandie. Mother was a very kind woman and was loved by all.
Judith is survived by her only son, Billy (Kim), Port Morien, sisters, Margie, Betty and Betty, brothers, Jackie and Richard, her long time friend, Debbie Thomas and many nieces and nephews.
Judith was predeceased by brothers, Bill, Gordon, Matthew, Lloyd, Arthur and Watson, sister, Kay and long time companion, Bernie Thomas.
There will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Glace Bay. Burial at a later date.
The family wish to express a sincere thank you to the staff at both the Glace Bay Hospital and the CBRH, Sydney.
