Joyce Sylvia Ritchie

Joyce S. Ritchie, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the age of 80.
Born in Moncton, NB on Oct. 31, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Sylvia and Watson Woodworth. Joyce was employed for many years at T. Eaton Company and eastern paper. She loved to prepare home cooking meals for family and friends. She enjoyed warm days at the cottage and listening to country music.
She is survived by her sons; Dave (Lynn) of Riverview, Dale (Cathy) of Saint John, stepdaughter, Pam (Tom) of Moncton, grandchildren; Michael, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Melissa, Brandon, Riley and great-grandchildren; Alina, Brooke, Ayden and Tayven. She is also survived by her brothers; Woody (Pat) of Moncton, Hughie (Frances) of Hopewell Cape and her sister, Patsy (Ed) of Florida.
Besides her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband Donald Ritchie and her sister Cora Duff.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 1:00pm until time of service. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Fair Haven Chapel, officiating will be The Vernerable Rev. Brent Ham.
Interment will take place in Fair Haven Cemetery. Donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to The Moncton Hospital Geriatric, fifth floor.
