Jorgen “John” Henssel Hansen, of the Indus/Langdon area, passed away at the Glenmore Agecare Centre, Calgary, on November 9, 2018 at the age of 91 years. John was born and raised in Denmark. He came to Canada in the 1950’s, firstly to Quebec and Ontario for a brief period then settling in Alberta. John excelled at many traits especially as a cabinet maker. He also ran the Indus Tree Nursery for a number of years. In his retirement, John’s passion was his photography.
