With much sadness the family of John (Jack) announces his death in his 97th year, on September 19th, 2018 at the Village of Wentworth Heights, Hamilton. Predeceased by his beloved wife Verna Grace (nee Goddard) in 2004. Loving father of Jim Noble & his wife Sue, Elaine Tschofen & her husband Wilf, and John Noble & his wife Marlene. Jack will be missed by his grandsons Mike & his wife Laura, Andy & his wife Katherine, Steve & and his wife Laura, John and his wife Julie, Paul & his wife Emily, Jeff & his wife Kristin, Kevin & his wife Kristen and great grandchildren Kyle, Evelyn, Bradley, Audrey, Nolan, Matthew, Tyler, Carly, Will, Ben, Addy and Sammy. Predeceased by his parents Jock and Isabel Noble of Port Dover and his brother James of Simcoe. Jack was a retired Hamilton Hydro employee, Past Master of the Corinthian Masonic Lodge and a member of the Scottish Rite. Jack and Verna enjoyed travelling in their 5th wheel trailer and spending summers at Miners Bay Lodge. Jack was happiest with a fishing rod in his hand and a grandchild at his side. Their family brought Jack and Verna their greatest joy. Special thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Wentworth Heights, particularly, the Scotsdale Neighbourhood, Jack’s home for the last 17 years. A celebration of Jack’s life will take place in the chapel at the Village of Wentworth Heights, 1620 Upper Wentworth St. Hamilton, on Thursday, November 8th at 7:00 p.m. He will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
