John Harold Roger Wright at the age of 91, peacefully at Glen Stor Dun Lodge in Cornwall, surrounded by the love of family, crossed from this world into the next on Sunday, February 11, 2018. John was the beloved husband to the late Patricia (Dock) for 60 years. Dear father of the late Debbie (Peter Norman), Wendy (Alan MacKenzie), Penny (Stephen Spencer), Cindy (Raymond Paradis), Holly (Pierre Ethier) and John. Lovingly remember by his 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother Fraser (the late Violet). Predeceased by his brother Ernie (Elsie), Fred, and sister Doris (Les Braley). He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held in Parksville, B.C. later in the spring. John is now at peace after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease and reunited with his Lord, his beloved wife and daughter, as well as all who walked before him.
