It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Buckland of Edmonton on January 26, 2018 at the age of 81 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Joan, son Peter (Debra), his Daughter, Lori (Dal) and his three grandchildren, Caitlyn, Ethan and Cole. Also surviving John are his five brothers, Alan (Alison), Ben (Ruth), Foster, Jim and Bill (Laura) and many other relatives and friends.
John was predeceased by his parents Allen J and Alice Buckland. John was born in Cowansville, Quebec and worked for Bell Canada for 16 years and retired from TELUS after 25 years. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Quebec
He loved hunting, camping, working in his garage and spending time with his family.
