John Ernest “Ernie” Everingham
May 19, 1936 – May 14, 2018
Ernie passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on May 14, 2018, at the age of 81.
Beloved husband of the late Mary Jane. Loving father of Debra, Marvin (Janice), Brenda, Dale (Kim) and the late Cathy. Loving grandfather to Audrey (Tyler), Dean, Olivia (Branden), Jessica, Joshua (Kara), Caleigh, John and great grandfather to Gwen and Margo. Greatly missed by his sister Vee and predeceased by his brother Tom.
When it comes to friends, Ernie’s cup was overflowing! Far too many good and important people to list without missing someone. Because of the love and support of these friends, Ernie was able to remain in Cobourg almost to the end where he enjoyed many visits and even the odd poker game while at Northumberland Hills Hospital.
Ernie will be missed by all that knew him.
Please join us in celebrating his life on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 1:00 in the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre, 30 King St. E., Cobourg.
Donations in Ernie’s name may be made to the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg or the Grand River Hospital Freeport Campus. Kitchener.
Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
