JOHN EDWARD QUINN
The family announces with great sadness John’s sudden passing in Ajijic, Mexico, Tuesday June 5, 2018 at the age of 69 years. Son of the late John and Cathleen Quinn. Cherished Father of Curtis Quinn (Christine) of Calgary, Alberta, and Cathleen Quinn (Orson) of Sudbury, and best friend of Lorraine Charbonneau. Loving Grandfather of Kaitlyn, Tyler and Hayden. Brother of Michael Quinn and Maureen (Quinn) Horan, and Uncle to many nieces and nephews. John spent the last few years in Mexico celebrating life, enjoying the great weather, architecture and company of a wonderful group of friends. Anyone who knew John knew of his zest for life, and his good-hearted nature. John was an Electrician by trade with Inco, and worked there for over 35 years, retiring in 2009. John loved to fish and hunt, and thoroughly enjoyed activities involving the outdoors. His most treasured times were spent with his Children, Grandchildren, and Family. A special thanks to John’s good friends, Clive and Julie in Mexico, for all of their assistance with the arrangements. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date.
