Joanne Cynthia Meldrum
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Joanne, on April 15, 2018 at the age of 53. Beloved daughter of Bernard Schock and the late June (nee Smith). Loving and caring mother of Kurtis and Brent. Special friend of Marc Bernard.Dear sister of Joe (Colleen), Jeffrey and Thomas. Joanne will be forever remembered by her nieces and nephews, especially Ryan and Kyle, as well as her many cousins and friends. She will be sadly missed by her pets Shiloh and Alice and will be fondly remembered for her love of animals and her smile. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Friday, April 27 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. A private service for family, Joanne’s close friends and colleagues will be held in the chapel, Sunday, April 29 at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
