God called her home on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the age of 86. Beloved wife for 64 years to Wilfred “Duvy” Duval. Loving mother of Carolyn (George) Artem, Beverly Duval and Mark Duval (Karen Posendorf). Cherished Grandma of Kyle (Sinéad), Chad (Christina), Braden (Robyn), Megan (Tay) and Adam (Rebecca). Dear Great-Grandmother of Kieran and Grace.
JoAnn was much loved and will be greatly missed by all.
The Family will receive friends at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill St. E., Acton, on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for JoAnn will be held in the funeral home at 8:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Patron of Canada Parish (64 Church St. E., Acton) on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation (Guelph Renal Clinic) or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
