MARTIN, Joan Elizabeth
It is with heavy hearts, we announce that God has called home his sweetest angel. Joan Elizabeth Martin (nee Robinson) has joined Ernest Martin, who has been waiting for her with open arms. She had gallantly fought to the end with her family by her side and passed away peacefully in her sleep at 9:30 am, Sept 23rd. She is survived by her son, Andrew Martin (Diane Smylie) and her grandchildren, Kandice Martin (Devon Dent) and Jolene Martin, and loving great grand nana of Austin. Born December 11, 1930, she made it to her 88th year. She will be fondly remembered by her friends and those who knew her and missed greatly by her adoring immediate and extended family. Visitation will be held at L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North, Hamilton (905-544-1147) on Friday, September 28th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by a service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm.
