Jim Herman Thornton
Thornton, James “Jim” Herman- Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, November 9th, 2018 at his residence, in his 71st year. Survived by his loving wife and best friend Mary Thornton. Cherished Father of Jay (Cheryl) Thornton, Brad Thornton and Alaina Robillard. Dear papa to Noah, Calleigh, James and Owen. Loving brother to Aubrey (Cathy) Thornton, David (Liz) Thornton and Margaret (Dave) Garside. Loving Brother in-law to Elly Beer, Astrid (Mark) Bowlby and Henry (Tammy) Hegger. Jim is the proud co-founder of the Ingersoll Rod and Custom Car Club and a long-time employee of Glassford Chrysler. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for visitation on Monday November 12th, 2018 from 2-4pm and again from 6-8pm at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas Street Thamesford, Ontario (519-285-2427). A private service will be held at a later date.
