Obituary of Jean Leitch
With great sadness, The Leitch family announce the death of their beloved Mom, Jean Lillian (Red) Leitch. Mom died peacefully June 16, 2018 at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket. Red’s happy life serves as a lesson on the value of friends and laughter. Red formed great lasting friendships with her high school chums, working colleagues from her diamond polishing days in Toronto during WW 2 and her job at the Keswick Library. Red was always surrounded by loving, caring family, friends and neighbours and this continued right up to the end of her life. Predeceased by her husband, William Harold and her son Grant. Barry & Theresa, Sandra, Beverly & Alan, Jill & John, (the late) Grant & Sherry, Lori & Bob, Lyle & Wendy. Grandchildren, Ryan, Tracy, Leonard, Shivana, Alexandra, Warren, Diana, Roslyn, Evan, Katie, Georgia, Samantha, Patrick and Jacob. And Great Grandchildren. Also called, Mom & Grandma Red and friend of many.
Thank you Mom for all you gave us, rest in peace.
Donations to your local food bank would be appreciated. Private family funeral in June and a Celebration of Life will take place on July 8th at East Gwillimbury Sports Complex -Canada Hall 1914B Mt. Albert Side Rd. Sharon, ON from 2pm to 4pm.
