Obituary for Jacques “Marc” Lacoursiere
Passed away peacefully, at home, with his loving family by his side, on April 17, 2018 at 79 years of age. Beloved husband of 56 years to Donna (nee Evoy). Dearest father of Kevin Lacoursière (Judy), Todd Lacoursière (Jodie) and Darren Lacoursière (Monica). Adored Papa of Randi (Cody Robinet), Rachel (Tom Drake), Lauren, Ryan and Joel. Loving son of the late Wilfrid and Alma Lacoursière (nee Joanis). Dear brother of the late Aldina “Diane” Serre, the late Aldea “Lucy” Levac, the late Georgette Gelinas, Annette Ivosevich, Claire Joworski, the late Pete Lacoursière, the late Huguette “Noela” Griffith, the late Gaetane “Kay” Ouellette, the late Laurent “Larry” Lacoursière, the late Yolande Westfall, the late Marcel Lacoursière, Roger Lacoursière (Montreal, PQ), Madeleine Schenkelaars (Sugarland, TX), the late Germain “Gerry” Lacoursière, and Pauline Hober (Kitchener, ON). Marc was a dedicated employee of General Motors and a CAW member of Local 1973. He was truly devoted to his family and enjoyed BBQs, holidays and any moment he could spend with his grandchildren. He will be missed every 4th of July during the family picnic that he always looked forward to.
