Bennett (Kelly), Jacqueline Ann, age
49, of Antigonish passed away after a short illness on July 6, 2018,
at the Halifax Infirmary surrounded by her loving
family.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of
Elizabeth Anne “Bessie” and the late Maurice Francis
Kelly.
Jacqueline’s children and grandchildren were her
pride and joy, they called her “Momma”. Her kind
and compassionate soul extended to all that crossed her path.
Jacqueline welcomed family, friends, and neighbours into her
home and was well known for making sure all were well fed.
She lit up a room and was a special wife, mother, daughter,
sister, aunt, and friend that will always be remembered by many for
her joy and laughter.
Besides her mother, she will be
greatly missed by her husband of 30 years, Troy; children: Chad
(Jamie), Bayfield; Maurice (Brittany), Gull Lake, Alta.; Jacob,
Madison and Benjamin at home; grandchildren: Josie, Rease, Emerson,
Olivia; sisters: Cecilia (Ronnie) Delorey, Pomquet; Lee Kelly, North
Grant; brother, Billy (Linda), Fort Saskatchewan, Alta; many aunts,
uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be in C.L. Curry
Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish on Monday and Tuesday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held in St.
Peter’s Church, Tracadie on Wednesday at 1:00 pm with
Reverend John Barry presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery.
Donations in memory may be made to PHAST Antigonish or St.
