NEWELL, Jacob David – My soldier has gone home – Peacefully at home with family by his side on Sunday, December 23rd, 2018 in his 73rd year. Dave Newell of Pembroke, beloved husband Geraldine Newell (nee Charbonneau). Loving father of David (Tracy) Newell and Lisa Newell. Cherished Papa of Kaitlyn Newell and Jaden Newell. Dearest brother of Elaine (Leo) Murphy, Edna (Bill) Davis and Bernice Newell. Dearest brother-in-law of Rhea (the late Neil) Poupore, Theresa (the late Doug) Warren, Margaret (Terry) Wendt and Joan Charbonneau (Paul). Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Dora Newell (nee Clarke) and William and Rhea Charbonneau (nee Beaupre). Cherished ‘Uncle Dave’ to many nieces and nephews and beloved ‘Papa’ to all. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke on Thursday, December 27th, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Jean Baptiste Church, Pembroke on Friday, December 28th, 2018 at 11 a.m., followed by cremation.
