Peacefully at Pinecrest Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Leo (1992). Loving mother of Leo, Jim (Susan), Tim and Joel. Predeceased by her daughter Janice. Proud grandmother of Marie, Joe (Tanya), Dianna (Jason), Jamie (Sean) and Joel and great-grandmother of Noah, Graycene, Hunter, Hayden, Cooper and Jackson. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME (28 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax 905-428-8488) on Sunday, December 9 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Monday, December 11 at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior, from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Iris will be laid to rest with Leo in ST. FRANCIS de SALES ROMAN CATHOLIC CEMETERY (Notion Rd., Ajax) following the service. If desired, memorial donations may be made to CNIB and would be appreicated by the family.
