Iris D. Gallant
1948-2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Iris Dale (Wentzell)
Gallant, age 70, of Bridgewater, announce her sudden passing on
Saturday, July 14th 2018 at South Shore Regional Hospital,
Bridgewater.
Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Doran and Grace
(Barhouse) Wentzell (Martin’s Point).
She is survived by daughter, Jamie Gallant, who was her everything;
sister, Suzanne (David) Crouse, Lunenburg; brothers, Garnet, Albert
and Stuart (Anne), all of Martin’s Point; many nieces and
nephews.
Also, a special mention of her great niece, Emily Cook, whom she loved
to see come visit with her hugs and many pictures for Aunt
Iris’s fridge.
She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Marie (Gerald) Dorey,
Goldie Lynn, Violet Rose; brother, Larry; nephew, Brandon
Wentzell.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, July 19th 2018 at
the Pentecostal Cemetery, Western Shore, Rev. James Haughn
officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to
I.W.K. Health Centre Foundation, a charity that held a special place
in Iris’s heart.
