Horst “Frank” Gropler
At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday, June 17, 2018. Lt. (Retired) Horst Franz “Frank” Gropler of Bainsville; age 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Gropler (nee Fischer). Loving father of Klaus (Nicole) and Gabriele. Dear son of the late Franz Gropler and the late Charlotte Blachney. Also survived by 2 grandchildren Kurtiss and Lindsay (Andy), and by 7 great-grandchildren Isabella, Kayla, Maggie, Autumn, Talice, Asher and River. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster, Ontario (613-347-3629) on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 11 am until 1 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 1 pm. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Heart Institute, 40 Ruskin Ave, Ottawa, Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Frank a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
