Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory
Heather Naismith, beloved wife of Mr. Billy Naismith of Airdrie, AB passed away at the Agape Hospice on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the age of 72 years.
Besides her beloved husband Billy, Heather will be dearly missed by her children Alan Naismith, Colin Naismith and Heather (Karl) McGrath and all her grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Janet and father James Gordon. Heather was born in Glasgow, Scotland, she married Billy on September 4, 1971 and was married for 47 years. She was a nurse in Scotland. They moved to Canada in 1981, she was a devoted wife and mother, a gardener, a strong fighter and she always put her family first. Heather was known to be stubborn, to be the voice of reason, have strength and compassion and was the backbone of the family. She was always there.
A Memorial Service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, (Prairie View Chapel, 1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Agape Hospice, 1302- 8 Avenue N.W, Calgary, AB T2N 1B8.   1. To all the Family in Canada our sincere condolences. Heather was a wonderful Sister who made us laugh and cry we shall miss you so much you shall be in our thoughts everyday.

  2. My deepest sympathy to all the family in Canada .My sister Heather shall be sadly missed by all who knew her ,Oceans apart will not diminsh our love for her .And she shall always be remembered .It is with heavy heart I never got to say goodbye .A very sad day for the family
