Bathurst – Mrs. Grace Branch, 102, wife
of the late Angus Branch, of Murray Avenue, passed away on Monday,
September 24, 2018 at her
residence.
Born in Saint
John, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Isabelle (Dillon)
Blair.
A graduate from
Fredericton High School and Fredericton Business College, Grace was
employed for many years with the Department of Social Services, a
member of Saint George’s Church choir and Nicholas Denys
Chapter IODE.
She was the last
member of her immediate
family.
She is survived
by several nieces, great-nieces and
great-nephews.
Grace was predeceased by two brothers:
Donald and Robert
Blair.
The family will
receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton’s
Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com),
Bathurst. Funeral service will be held on Thursday September
27, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Saint George’s Anglican Church, King Ave.,
Bathurst. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m.
Donations in memory of Grace may be made
to the CNIB Foundation, St. George’s Anglican Church or a
charity of the donor’s
choice.
