Gordon Elvey Quast passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital with his family by his side on November 7, 2018. Born in Stratford, son of the late Harold and Evelyn (Pullman) Quast. Beloved husband of Audrey (Debus). Loving father of Jason (Kristen) and step-father of Cindy Ehgoetz (Calvin) and Janet Jacobs. Grandfather of Cole, Hunter, Garret, Cheyenne, Stevie, Candace and Nicole. Brother of Nancy Hinz (John), Richard Quast, Marilyn Elliott, Bruce Quast (Dora), Mary Blanchard (Chuck). Also surviving is daughter-in-law Heather Green, sister-in-law Tammy Quast, Dianne Quast, Dorcas Debus and many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by brother Wesley Quast and brothers-in-law Harvey Elliott, Albert and Robert Debus (Eva) and by a sister-in-law Eileen Quipp (Gilbert).
Visitation at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 5183 Perth Road 130, Moserville on Saturday, November 10, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery followed by a reception in the church basement. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Stratford Perth Rotary Hospice Foundation, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters and may be made through the W.G.
