Passed peacefully away into the presence of his
Saviour, Gordon Lovell on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the Corner Brook
Long Term Care Centre at the age of 80 years. He leaves with fond
memories his wife of 45 years Dorothy (nee Maloney); daughters: Lorna
Lovell (Mike Murray) and Rhonda Lovell; grandchildren: Bruce Webb,
Emily Webb and Isaac Lovell; brother Ralph (Elizabeth) Lovell; special
friend Shawn Webb; extended family the Sinnicks family of Hawkes Bay;
as well as a large circle of sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his
parents William and Annie Lovell, brother Benjamin Lovell, sisters
Rebecca House, Rachel Power and Olive Lovell, parents-in-law Marcus
and Hazel Maloney. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral
Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4
& 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June
27 at 2:00 p.m. from the Corner Brook Baptist Church,
O’Connell Drive with Pastor Calvin Andrews officiating.
Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of
sympathy, donations may be made to the Corner Brook Baptist Church.
