Gordon James MacDonald
November 7, 1953 – November 13, 2018.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce Gordon’s passing at the Ottawa Hospital (Civic Campus) on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018, surrounded by family.
Son of the late Greta MacIsaac and the late Donald DD MacDonald of Williamstown, Ontario. He is survived by his loving spouse Sheila Donahue, stepson TJ Wright (Marissa Cato and grand-daughter Elise) , his dear sister and brother-in-law Berna MacDonald and Bud Bova. He will be missed by a large extended family and many good friends.
Gordon was a social worker who took great pride in the work he did for the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa for more than 3 decades.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Ottawa Hospital for their exceptional care of him during his 7 month battle with cancer.
Celebration of life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion (Branch 480) 391 Richmond Rd. Ottawa, ON on Friday, November 30 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.
