Obituary for Gordon Bramley
BRAMLEY, Gordon
1925 – 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Gordon Bramley at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, Red Deer, Alberta, with his family at his bedside, on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the age of 92 years. Gordon was born at Carbon, Alberta on August 23, 1925, and took his schooling in that same community. He left home to serve in the Canadian Army in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe, at the age of 17 years. In 1954, he married Delphine. Gordon was employed by Grain Companies and Alberta Hail and Crop Insurance. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his wife of sixty-three years, Delphine, his daughter, Joanne Millar of Rimbey, Alberta, and his son, Glenn (Terri) Bramley of Cambridge, Ontario; as well as seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A Celebration of Gordon’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with The Reverend Dave Boettcher officiating. If desired, in lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Gordon’s honour may be made directly to the Red Deer Regional Health Foundation, Palliative Care, Unit 32, at www.rdrhfoundation.com
