Kerry, Glen John – 74, Thomson, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 in North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Born in Kincardin, Ontario, he was a son of the late Gordon and Mary (Webb) Kerry. Glen was a respected long-haul truck driver for 52 years having worked with several different companies including Maritime-Ontario, CRS and Ludwig Transport. Glen’s love of the road was obvious but his love for his family was even larger and he proudly passed on his career choice to his two sons. He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, the former Ann Woodland; son, Bradley (Mari-Lynne Taylor), Thomson; daughter, Tammy (Mike Catherwood), Vittoria, Ont.; granddaughter, Faith; brother, Harold; sisters, Betty, Nadine, Gladys and Donna. He was predeceased by son, Stephen; brother, Doug. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, with funeral service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, both in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home, 5075 Main Street, Oxford (902-447-2930).
