Gerald Edward Gerry Walker July 28 1930 December 13 2018

Gerald Edward “Gerry” Walker
July 28, 1930 – December 13, 2018
It is with heavy heart and buckets of tears we say goodbye to one of the finest gentlemen of our time. On December 13, 2018, Gerry was called home. Beloved husband to Betty and loving father to Karen (Peter). Proud grandfather of Jeffrey Beck, Jason Beck (Charlotte), and great grandfather of Hayden and baby Beck. Dear brother of Muriel Marsten (the late Hedley). Missed and remembered by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Never one to seek attention, Gerry quietly served in the background. He was a member of the Auxiliary to Northumberland Hills Hospital for 23 years, serving in a variety of leadership positions, including President and Treasurer. He was also a long-standing member of Trinity United Church where he served as Treasurer for many years. In 2011 Gerry’s volunteerism was recognized when he received a Distinguished Civic Award presented by the Town of Cobourg. At Gerry’s request, there will not be a visitation or service. In lieu of flowers donations to Trinity United Church, Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation, or Community Care would be appreciated by the family. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Gerald Edward Gerry Walker July 28 1930 December 13 2018..
