CHARD, Gerald “Bud” Edward… Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Helen Chard (née White) for 61 beautiful years. Loving father of Lisa & her husband Ken Allan, Andrew Chard & Lori and Jennifer & her husband Galen Frizzell. Proud grandfather of Celia Turk, Ty Wilhelm, Joshua Chard, Justin Bourgoin & his wife Orlana and great grandfather of Gerald, Ava Rae, Gemma & Jaxon. Cherished… Read More » brother-in-law of Cecile Horn and special uncle to Pamela Strome. Life long friend and nephew to Aileen “Aunt NeeNee” Mountenay. Predeceased by his parents Andy & Daisy Chard and his siblings Lorna (Len) Hubbard, Viola (Gerry) Tyler, Arnold (Gaetane) Chard, William (Molly) Chard and Sylvia Alyea. Bud will be truly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
As per Bud’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted with WEAVER Funeral Home – West, 170 Dundas St. West, Trenton. A Private Family Celebration of Life will take place over Thanksgiving Weekend. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Kingston General Hospital – Renal and Dialysis Care Unit, Canadian Diabetes Association or Keep Kids Warm.
