The family announces with sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday December 17, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Loving mother of Tim Harrison (France Larocque) of Timmins and Helen Kelly (Martin) of Brantford. Dear grandmother of Isabelle, Melanie and late Joseph and great grandmother of Emma, Leah and Maya. She is survived by her brothers, sisters, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Adolph and Laurette Labelle and the father of her children Russell Harrison. Georgette left Timmins to go to Parry Sound Nursing School at St-Joseph’s Hospital in September 1952 and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1955. She worked many different position during her nursing career and retiring at the nursing station of Britt, Ontario in 1993, after working as a nurse for 38 years. As per her request, cremation was held and no visitation or service will take place. Remembrance donations to the CNIB Foundation (Timmins Branch) would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
