West Bathurst – George
Barclay, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Foyer Notre
Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, he was the
son of the late Joseph Barclay and the late Marie
Roy.
He is survived by his eight
children: Don (France Côté) of Gaspé,
QC, Ellen of Owen Sound ON, Patty (Vanessa Russell) of Toronto, ON,
Denise of Nanaimo, BC, Bob (Carole Asselin) of Beresford, NB, Ken of
Toronto, ON, Paul (Corrie Zapalac) of Stratford, ON, and Theresa
(David Gent) of Milton, ON.
Twelve grandchildren:
Alexandre, Olivier, Tom, Michael, Michelle, Sebastien, Gabriel,
Andrew,
Scott, Noah, Kenidi, Kieren and three great grandchildren: Savanah,
Aiden and
LeeAnna.
He is also survived by many
nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife, Lorena
(Guitard) Barclay he was also pre-deceased by his sister, Theresa and
his six brothers, Emery, Tom, Gerald, Leo, Louie and
Michael.
There will be no visitation
or funeral service.
Donations in memory of George
may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of the
donor’s choice.
