It is with heavy hearts the family of Gary Leroy Crossman, loving husband of Rosalind (Carson) Crossman, announces his passing on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1949 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Gordon and Jean (Hanson) Crossman. Gary was employed with Irving Tissue as a paper maker for 36 years, retiring in 2010. He was an active member of Mission Point Church. In addition to his wife Rose, he is survived by his sons Gary Allan (Ashley Chipman) Crossman and Donald Hugh Crossman both of Saint John; daughters Shelly (Kevin) Lawson of Rothesay and Crystal (Kevin) Carson of Saint John; brothers Robert (Valerie) Hanson of BC and Douglas (Bonnie) Crossman of AB; brother-in-law Thomas Elliott; grandchildren Sara, Katelyn, Rebecca, Lauren, Lola, Keegan and Aliyah. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Carol Robertson and Gloria Elliott.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road on Thursday May 24, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Mission Point Church, 130 Mark Drive on Friday May 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. The family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
