Obituary of Garry Sauer
Garry passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in Moose Jaw at the age of 63. Loving father of Amanda VanTassel of Dartmouth, NS, cherished brother of Linda Sauer, Lorraine Probert, Donnie Sauer and Allan Sauer, all of Moose Jaw. Garry was born to John and Jean Sauer in Moose Jaw, on January 10, 1955. He grew up following in his father’s footsteps in the carpentry business, building many homes in Moose Jaw. He also excelled at welding and had a very successful welding shop on Fairford St. W for many years. Most of all, Garry knew how to have a good time with his friends, many of whom will miss the frequent burns in and around Moose Jaw, impressing the women, whether it was on a motorcycle, snow machine or a fast car. A Memorial Tea Service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Hall from 1-5 p.m. All are welcome to attend to share a story or memory. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Garry’s many close friends who’s help through this difficult time has been immeasurable.
