It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Gail Irene Conners (nee LeFrense) announces her passing at the Bethell House Hospice in Inglewood, Ont on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at the age of 50 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Isle aux Morts, NL. Gail was the daughter of the late James LeFrense. She was also predeceased by her father-in-law Ronald Conners; brother Larry LeFrense; nephew Ryan Wells; uncles Dominic LeFrense, William LeFrense and Stanley (Mytle) Hillier.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving husband of 18 years James Conners and her two precious children of Brampton, Ont; mother Margaret LeFrense (nee Hillier) of Isle aux Morts, NL; brother William (Josephine) LeFrense of Port aux Basques, NL; sisters Eileen Leamon LeFrense of Isle aux Morts, NL, Valerie (Brad) Clarke of Port aux Basques, NL, Sheila (Greg) Wells of St. Catharines, Ont; mother-in-law June Conners; sisters-in-law Fern Conners both of Mississauga, Ont, Mary LeFrense of Fox Roost, NL; brothers-in-law Ted (Monica) Conners, Brian (Cathy) Conners, Ronald Conners all of Mississauga, Ont; uncles and aunts Annie (Robert) Strickland of Prince George, BC, Vera LeFrense of Port aux Basques, NL, Israel (Louise) LeFrense of Isle aux Morts, NL, Pearl LeFrense of Halifax, NS, Sheila (Max) Porter (nee Hillier) of Porterville, NL, Wilfred (Meta) Hillier, Lloyd (Isabelle) Hillier both of Brown’s Arm, NL, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Brampton Funeral Home in Brampton, Ont at 11 am with close family and friends. In keeping with Gail’s wishes, cremation was followed and brought home to Isle aux Morts, NL.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts, NL from where the memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at 2 pm officiated by The Rev. Cannon Dawn Barrett assisted by both The Rev. Cannon Duncan Granter and Deacon John Billard with interment of ashes to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail’s memory can be made to the Holy Spirit Anglican Church or the Hillside Haven Cemetery.
